About Raieh...
Raieh is a community world-building site. This fantasy world comes to life with fractal maps, fantastic creatures, intertwining histories, fantasy art, and 3D renders. Contributors have written hundreds of pages describing Raieh, and yet vast regions of the planet remain unexplored...Raieh is a Fractal planet and the setting for an entire world of fictional civilizations. Here you'll find original work inspired from a wide range of sources: modern, medieval, classical, and mythical. The inventions of our contributors -- the geography, history, art, languages, culture, and science of Raieh -- create rich settings for original fiction, fantasy art, and RPG adventures.
It's also lots of fun!
A Brief History of Raieh
Nearly two thousand years ago a great cataclysm shook Raieh. The survivors -- men, elves and dwarfs -- rebuilt, explored, migrated. They mingled with emerging races like Valkyrie, Ugiri, Skejad, and others. Some blamed the great cataclysm on a mythic race called the Draconians, but only the ancients remember for certain, and they do not often speak of times long past. Now, new civilizations have appeared, with no memory of those who came before. Empires rise and fall, and the glories of ages past lie in ruins. Grand adventures await those brave enough to explore this distant, sparkling world.
