Siardthaim

 
Siardthaim is the area on the coast of Narulys north of Kumul, between Brechten and Svesshian. The area is named after the clan who lives there (as are several other areas in Raieh).

The majority of settlements in Siardthaim are situated near Fanwrin Bay, only three of which might rightly be called cities. Piareddach is the largest, Ibrias sits to the west, and Hiwciber on the Svesshian frontier to the north. The inland town of Lergwyri serves as a merging point for southbound trade routes.

Though not a particularly numerous people, they have a strong spirit of independence and loyalty to each other. Fortunately for the Siardthaim, the Valkyrie of Kumul have no interest in conquering the coastal realm, and Brechten's arm does not yet reach so far east. Though fierce fighters, they could not long resist a concentrated assault by any organized army. Their chief rivalries are fueled by Siardthaim's greed for the rich fishing in Brechten and Svesshian waters. These rivalries have not resulted in open warfare, but have caused friction with the neighbors as long as anyone can remember.
